GENERAL JOSEPH W. STILWELL STAMP CANCELLATION CEREMONY

The United Stated Post Office is issuing a commemorative stamp honoring General Joseph W. Stilwell.

The Carmel Post Office in conjunction with the United States Army Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center and Presidio of Monterey, the Stilwell Hall Preservation Society and the Fort Ord Alumni Association is sponsoring a major stamp cancellation event at Stilwell Hall.

The event will include speeches by descendants of General Stilwell, surviving aides de camp as well as other local dignitaries, tours of Stilwell Hall, music and refreshments.
