Children Art classes were available year-round. Art Studios for the sole
use of young artist of ages 3 to 15, were designed to satisfy the artistic
needs of individual youngsters through a variety of creative outlets. Classes
and instruction in painting (watercolor, oil, tempera, mixed media) graphics
(drawing, printings), crafts (ceramics. pottery, lapidary, copper enameling,
jewelry, textile), photography, sculpture (all media) and Mural painting.
Also included in the art program were field trips, studio tours and slide
shows of artist work.
